Mr. Stolyarov’s music emphasizes harmony, order, and the highest human qualities. It means to celebrate human accomplishments and to provide a fitting background for productive endeavors. Mr. Stolyarov believes that the purpose of music is to elevate the human mind and refine the emotions. Emotions can only be effective aids to human goals and aspirations when they are channeled into a structure and tempered by sanity and prudence. Under the firm control of reason and a strong understanding of proportionality, emotions can assist human flourishing. Mr. Stolyarov’s music attempts to combine emotion and structure to accomplish precisely this aim in a tasteful, dignified, anti-chaotic fashion.
